X-spores
Used for annual validation of N,S and B-Class steam sterilisers.
Routine calibration and validation is not mandatory nor is it required to ensure that your steriliser is functioning properly. In fact, spore tests are not mandatory, nor do they provide any true evidence that your steriliser is functioning.
In modern times we have the chart printout that is built into all sterilisers. The Chart printout will tell the end user more information regarding the validation of sterilisers than any spore test can.
Therefore we developed the X-Spore test to run in house at your practice each year to ensure you meet general validation requirements to ASNZ4815:2006 (AS 5369:2023).
This will save you both cost and time.
Using the X-Spore, we will evaluate the most complex and potent spore in the word: Geo-Bacillusstaerothermophilus over the incubation time of 72 hours.
Once you place your order with X-Labs, we will send you out the spore test pack kit. Simply run the spore inside the pouch in your steriliser on a standard universal cycle. Remove the pack and send the spore back to X-Labs for testing. Once the spore has passed we will send you the validation certificate.
The cost of this process will can you more than $1000 per year on annual validation.
