ABCAM INSTANT  BLUE

InstantBlue® is a ready-to-use, proprietary Coomassie® stain that is specially formulated for ultra-fast, sensitive and safe detection of your proteins. Protein gels can be stained in minutes without the need to wash, fix or destain.

Only proteins are stained resulting in well-defined blue bands on a highly transparent background. The reduction of background interference results in a better signal to noise ratio and may also have a positive impact on the overall resolution and sensitivity.

The InstantBlue® formulation is non-toxic and does not contain any methanol. Proteins stained using the InstantBlue® stain are also compatible with mass spectrometry (MS) analysis.

X-CHARGE SLIDES

Traditionally adhesion slides were made by and to provide quality bonding between the slide and tissue sample. Poly-L-Lysine was commonly used for this procedure and is still used in major brands today for Immunohistochemistry.

The issue with Poly-L-Lysine is its inability to bond correctly to the slide, as well as causing damage to the tissue. This can end up being a huge cost to collection centres, medical centres, and become a major concern for the patient when recollection is required. NCA Labs have taken a page from the past, and have redesigned the formula for adhesion slides. With years research on the new formula, the tissue samples have been proven to remain on the slide, without damaging the tissue and limiting recollection.

Because of our new formula, we have also cut down the cost of the slide by almost half the market price, saving your facility thousands annually. The use of the new formula also increases the clarity of the imaging of the sample under the microscope.

Made by hand in our Australian lab and analysed thoroughly through a critical QC process, we have ensured that your results will be no less than 100% in your valuable field of research and diagnostics.

X-Clear Solution (Xylene Replacement)

After 7 years of formulating and testing, we have completed the first, non-toxic solvent that directly replaces Xylene, whilst providing premium quality. Based on decades of experience working in clinical, diagnostic and research laboratories, we understood the urgency of a replacement for Xylene and its toxic effect on end users.

Xylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon known for its wide usage in tissue processing, staining and cover slipping in the histology laboratory. The hazards of xylene are well documented, making it a potential occupational hazard for the histopathological technicians. As every other profession became cautious of the occupational hazards, the very speciality that identifies the illnesses became one of the last to become aware and remedy its own hazards.

This review article aims to discuss the toxicity of xylene and safety measures to counteract the hazards and enlists the pros and cons of using various substitutes that claim to be much safer, better and faster.

We have neutralised the vapour effect of the hydrocarbons and increased the clarity by adjusting the buffer at the right viscosity. This allows the lab technicians and scientific researchers to perform their applications with zero toxic effect, whilst maintaining a high standard of processing.

Because of the types of raw materials used to produce the X-Clear, the cost of AR Grade X-Clear becomes significantly less than Xylene. Its application is like for like with Xylene in both its use and colour, and is a direct replacement without dilution or adjustment required.

We are proud that the worlds first non-toxic solution to the Xylene epidemic was created and is continued to be produced right here in our Sydney Laboratories. This allows us to provide our customers with the highest quality assurance and control, as well as direct support.
